Applications are open!

Grain Producers SA sponsors two young grain producers every year to attend the Australian Grain Industry Conference. The conference will be held from August 2-4, 2017, and is hosted by Grain Trade Australia. It brings together the Australian and international grain industries to network while providing the latest information on international grain markets.

GPSA’s sponsorship is at valued at $2500 each and is designed to encourage participation of young producers in the grain industry and help build their skills by giving them exposure to end‐users.

To enter, applicants must be 35 or under at the time of the conference and be available to travel to Melbourne on the conference date. Applicants must submit up to 400 words outlining their experiences, study or opinions on the grain industry supply chain and why they would benefit from attending the Australian Grain Industry Conference.

This is very broad and could include on-farm operations, their own or tertiary-related study, or other observations of the supply chain. Entries will be assessed by GPSA. The two applications that best articulate the entry question (above) will receive the conference sponsorship.
