Finalists announced for AgTech Pitch at Growing SA

Five businesses will have the opportunity to showcase their product at Growing SA as part of the AgriFutures evokeAG. AgTech Pitch.

AgriWebb, Farmbot, CERES, DART and TraitSelect have been selected by a panel of expert judges as the final five to pitch their AgTech product adoptable for grain and/or livestock farmers to the Growing SA attendees.

Grain Producers SA Chief Executive Officer Brad Perry said 10 businesses from across Australia competed in the semi-final pitch, with the judges choosing the final five to progress.

“After receiving a strong field of applications, it was pleasing to see a mix of different technologies adoptable to grain and/or livestock producers chosen to pitch at Growing SA for the prize of two tickets to evokeAG. and a bursary for flights and accommodation,” he said.

“It was a close competition with little separating the 10 semi-finalists but AgriWebb, Farmbot, CERES, DART and TraitSelect won the opportunity to pitch in the final at Growing SA where the audience will decide the winner.”

Livestock SA Chief Executive Officer Travis Tobin said the AgTech Pitch is expected to be a popular addition.
