July 2016

On 1 July 2016, several changes occurred to wages and conditions. The changes, which take effect from the first full pay period on or after 1 July, include:

  • A wage increase of 2.4%, approved by the Fair Work Commission.
  • Allowances were also adjusted.

The following did not change:

  • The Superannuation Contribution remains at 9.5%.
  • The casual loading remains at 25% for other employers.
