Primary producers wanting to move machinery less than 4 metres wide at night can now apply for a permit as a result of the government‐industry transport partnership project.
Effective Monday 4 December 2017 the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) are processing night movement permits.

Farmers Guidebook to Work Health and Safety now available

In South Australia, 4.5 percent of the total workforce is employed in agriculture but about 19pc of workplace deaths occur on farms. It is a scary statistic and highlights the importance of work health and safety on-farm.
SafeWork SA and Grain Producers SA commodity groups, including Livestock SA, launched the new Farmers’ Guidebook to Work Health and Safety at EP Field Days last month.
